Schreder is one of the leading outdoor lighting solution providers worldwide, experts in delivering an extraordinary experience. But to deliver successful experiences, Schreder needed an optimal solution to create a strong connection between their different departments to increase production line efficiency. This has been extremely important based on the product complexity in all options offered and by implementing Bluestar PLM they would only have one interface for Engineering and Operations to exchange data.

Schreder started implementing Bluestar PLM by the end of 2021. Now, one year later, progress has come a long way. The challenge from moving from one system to another was to migrate all the data without any losses. However, this has been accomplished, and it is now possible to retrieve all data globally.

One of the key reasons moving to Bluestar PLM, was that Bluestar is the only system embedded in Dynamics 365 F&SCM, which made it a lot easier and efficient for Schreder to work with.

In general, Schreder has been satisfied with the support, where they have experienced competent support, even though there have been special requests at some points.

So far, Schreder has successfully accomplished seamless integration with ERP through Bluestar PLM, enabling them to compare their PLM with ERP effortlessly and without the need for any supporting system—a crucial factor contributing to their remarkable success. Finally, Schreder has Solidworks fully integrated with their D365 F&SCM ERP system, which has created strong satisfaction from their designers.
