2.0 Collected Information 

2.1 Information Collected from Online Visitors 

You can visit the PDM technology website (, without disclosing your identity or revealing any personal information about yourself. It requires an active action to provide PDM technology with personal information. 

2.1.1 IP addresses 

Our web server collects IP addresses to obtain certain aggregate information concerning the use of our website. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the web. We do not link IP addresses to any personally identifiable information. Therefore, you can remain anonymous when you visit our website. 

Our web servers also collect information such as the number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed etc., Yet, this information is not traceable. PDM technology uses this information to analyze how visitors use our website and generate ideas on how the site can be improved in the future.

Our web pages utilize “cookies” so that we can better serve you when you return to our site. 2.2.1 Lead Generation Campaigns (LinkedIn Paid Advertising) 

PDM technology uses Lead Gen Forms as part of its paid advertising. The campaigns collect information from LinkedIn members who have expressed interest in PDM technology upcoming events and content by providing the following information: 

  • Name  
  • Job Title  
  • Email  
  • Company Name  

We use this information to analyze the contact person’s reason for contact to give the most precise answers by email. This information will be used internally to track the history of conversations and follow the development of the relation in order to provide the best service. 

3.0 The Use of Personal Information 

3.1 Purpose 

PDM technology may use the personal information you provide us for a variety of purposes, including registration, authentication, and marketing. We use the information to inform you of upgrades, and other Bluestar PLM® software products and services that you may be of interested inBefore this, we will have received your consent.

If the user does not wish to receive information about additional Bluestar PLM products or services or those of its partners and other companies, please let us know (contact information below) and we will respect your wishes. Emails we distribute describing offers we think may be of interest to you also contain instructions as to how you can opt-out of future emails.

PDM technology is not responsible for any data shared or the content or privacy practices of any non-PDM technology website. 4.2 Website Analysis 

PDM technology uses the services of a third-party vendor to help us measure and analyze the effectiveness of our web pages and how visitors use To do this, we may use web beacons and cookies provided by this third-party vendor. The type of information we collect includes the pages visited and navigation patterns, which helps us learn how visitors use our site and what information is of most interest to visitors to our web site. Although the third-party vendor logs the information coming from our site on our behalf, PDM technology controls how that data may and may not be used. 4.3 Use of Google Analytics 

PDM technology uses Google Analytics, a Web analysis service of Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files stored on the user’s computer for the purpose of analyzing the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the USA. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating the use of this website, compiling reports on website activities and providing other services relating to website activity and Internet usage to the website operator. 

The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data by Google. The user can prevent the storage of cookies through a corresponding setting in the browser software.

4.4 Use of Google Tag Manager 

This website uses Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager only implements tags. No cookies are set and no personal data is recorded. Google Tool Manager triggers other tags that may record data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. In case of deactivation at the domain or cookie level, all tracking tags remain active if they are implemented with Google Tag Manager. 4.5 Use of Google Ads 

PDM technology uses Google Ads and conversion tracking within the scope of Google AdWords. The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on a Google ad. These cookies are not used for personal identification. When the user visits pages on this website and the cookie has not expired yet, Google and PDM technology can detect that the user clicked the ad and was redirected to this page. Thus, cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords users. 

The information collected with the help of the conversion cookie is used to prepare conversion statistics for AdWords users who have opted for conversion tracking. PDM technology obtains the total number of users who have clicked its ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. PDM technology does not receive any information that allows the user to be personally identified. If the user does not want to take part in tracking, they can object to this use by deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie in the user settings of the browser. Subsequently, the user is not included in the conversion tracking statistics.

4.6 Use of YouTube 

YouTube functions for the display and playback of videos are integrated in the PDM technology website. These functions are offered by YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066 USA. Further information can be found in the YouTube privacy policies. 

The enhanced privacy mode is used here, which, according to the provider, starts recording user information only upon playback of the video(s). When the playback of embedded YouTube videos is started, YouTube uses cookies to collect information about user behavior. According to YouTube, this is used among other things to record video statistics, increase user-friendliness, and prevent misuse. Independently from the playback of the embedded videos, a connection to Google’s ‘DoubleClick’ network is established each time the PDM technology website is called up, which may trigger additional data processing operations outside the influence of PDM technology.

4.7 Use of Mailchimp and Newsletter 

PDM technology uses Mailchimp to send newsletters. The user has the option to subscribe to the PDM technology newsletter. The user has the right and option to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. For this purpose, simply send a corresponding e-mail to info(@) An unsubscribe link in the newsletter itself may also be used. 

4.8 Use of Hotjar 

PDM technology uses Hotjar to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices (in particular device’s IP address (captured and stored only in anonymized form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), preferred language used to display our website). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymized user profile. Neither Hotjar nor we will ever use this information to identify individual users or to match it with further data on an individual user. 4.9 Use of Albacross 

PDM technology uses Albacross in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. 

Information about the consent to Albacross processing of personal data   

We obtain your consent to the processing of personal data on the behalf of Albacross Nordic AB (“Albacross”). 

Information collected from cookies set in your device that qualify as personal data will be processed by Albacross, a company offering lead identification and ad targeting services with offices in Stockholm and Krakow. Please see below for full contact details.  

The purpose for the processing of the personal data is that it enables Albacross to improve a service rendered to us and our website (e.g “Lead Generation” service), by adding data to their database about companies.  

The data that is collected and used by Albacross to achieve this purpose is information about the IP-address from which you visited our website, and technical information that enables Albacross to tell apart different visitors from the same IP-address. Albacross stores the domain from form input  in order to correlate the IP-address with your employer.

4.10 LinkedIn Conversion Tracking and Insight Tag  

The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a piece of lightweight JavaScript code that is added to our website to enable in-depth campaign reporting and unlock valuable insights about our website visitors. It enables the collection of data regarding our members’ visits to our website, including the URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics (User Agent), and timestamp. This data is encrypted, the IP addresses are truncated, and members’ direct identifiers are removed within seven days in order to make the data pseudonymous. This remaining, pseudonymized data is then deleted within 90 days.  

Bluestar PLM uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag to track conversion, retarget website visitors on LinkedIn, give us insight in visitor’s interactions with our LinkedIn paid ads.  

LinkedIn does not share any personal data with PDM technology Aps. It only provides aggregated reports about the website audience and ad performance. The retargeting feature for website members, helps us serve personalized ads out of by using this data, but without identifying the member to who the ad was served.    

As a LinkedIn member you can control the use of your personal data for advertising purposes if you go to your LinkedIn account settings (Ads > General advertising preferences> Insight on Websites You Visited).  

5.0 How do we store your data?  

PDM technology uses Hubspot CRM and Hubspot Sales to store our contacts’, company and sales information. When you register for webinar or demo, send us a direct email via our contact form or we acquire data from offline marketing activities (conferences, fairs, etc.), we save your contact information on Hubspot.  

The access to the data, stored on Hubspot is limited only to employees of PDM technology Group who are granted access via username and password.

5.2 Data Usage: 

  • Marketing purposes: Sending information regarding new products and news regarding Bluestar PLM via email; A contact can unsubscribe from further email communication by replying to an email with subject: “unsubscribe” or clicking on the unsubscribe button under the email content.  
  • Audience and Market Insights: Learning about audience insights and markets.  
  • Historical Information about communication with potential customersWe keep contact record in our CRM to relate to previous interactions with the contact such as exchanged emails, pages’ visited, submitted forms. In other words, we keep track of the online activity related to our page which is achieved via tracking services provided by Hubspot which utilize cookies.  

5.3 What kind of information we store in our CRM:

5.4 Data Sharing  

PDM technology Group does not share any personal information to third parties. If an employee exports data from the CRM system, this must be saved on PDM technology Group’s server.   

The data cannot be used for direct marketing activities without contact’s consent. 

6.0 The Users Rights 

6.1 Right to access information 

The user has a right to obtain information free of charge about their stored data, and a right to the correction, blocking or deletion of that data. Upon request PDM technology shall inform the user in writing regarding what personal data of the user has been stored in accordance with the applicable laws. This information is provided free of charge. PDM technology must limit the time spend on this matter due to internal resources to twice a year. 

6.2 Right to object 

If the user does not wish for data to be actively used for internal purposes by PDM technology, the user has the right to object to this use and processing at any time. 6.3 Updating Personal Information and “Opting Out”
