Plant and Machine Engineering with Bluestar PLM in Dynamics 365/AX Webinar

About the Webinar

How do you coordinate the external and internal processes within your Engineering-to-Order (ETO)?

ETO manufacturers work with complex products which require good coordination, not only within the organization but also with external sub-contractors. It is crucial to coordinate the pre-release of partial (growing) BOMs and items related to complex projects on time to avoid bottlenecks. Adding to the complexity of this challenge, projects such as plant design and machinery requires BOMs/items to be either manufactured or designed by sub-contractors. Such processes demand multi-discipline design support and easy access to product structures within the project in order to ensure efficient production management.

Integrations of multi-CAD, pre-release of BOMs and items, and sharing up-to-date product information with contractors can be achieved with a “data-highway” between CAD, PLM, and ERP systems.

Therefore, on May 11th, our PLM experts will demonstrate how Bluestar PLM can facilitate better coordination between external and internal engineering and manufacturing; support multi-CAD systems such as Altium and Solidworks* CAD (eCAD & mCAD) and shorten lead time by enabling the pre-release of items and BOMs to utilize the entire production apparatus across multiple sites. In addition, during the webinar you will also experience how you can reuse your existing product data from your ERP and PLM systems inside Dynamics 365/AX.

*Bluestar PLM supports +15 CAD Systems (see here)

You will experience:

  • Release Management
  • Multi-CAD Integrations (Autodesk Plant Design/Altium)
  • Variant Management/Product Configuration
  • Bluestar Projects
